Uptown morning tale is a double sided water colour painting. It belongs to a series of water colours painted by Lotta Barlach. The whole serie is based on observations of industrially constructed urban environments that are gradually overpowered by the law of nature. 
 
Layers of water colour paint is applied on acid free water colour paper. The processis is embracing a focus on the moments in which past and presence meets and includes a weave of coincidences and its opposite. Involved in the process is an ounce of action painting.
